The Bridge Inn, Whorlton

Deserves to be a lot busier than it was when the wife and I visited. Not a huge range of beer, but well-kept. The food is excellent both in quality and value. It would be a crying shame of lack of business forced it to follow so many other village pubs.
They appear to be trying to organise events - ladies' and men's lunch days, theme nights, car boot sales etc - and hopefully these are supported by the local community.

Church Inn, Chelmorton

A great little place. Off the beaten track, but worth a detour for the good changing beers, great value food and helpful licensees.
Rooms fine, breakfast excellent. A hidden gem.

The Lantern Pike Inn, Little Hayfield

Great to see a no-dogs pub. I've never understood how shops that serve food don't allow dogs, but some pubs that serve meals do.
