The Rose and Crown, Stanton

Recently changed ownership has gone up market with food to more restaurant quality, refurbished restaurant, ate there couple of nights ago and although there wasn't many diners (currently buiding up new clientele) the food was excellent. Well worth a visit.

The Old Cannon Brewery, Bury St Edmunds

Very good standard of food and good service, a little noisy as the bar gets quite full and there is no separation between the bar and the restaurant, car parking is a problem at busy times but all in all one of the best places to eat in Bury St Edmunds.

The Angel Hotel, Bury St Edmunds

More a restaurant with a hotel than a pub, however the food is top notch and probably the best eatery in Bury St Edmunds.
