Railway Inn, Upper Killay

It was a bank holiday weekend so we decided not to go to town, too busy. My brother and his friends used to go there when they stayed at the Student Village 3 years ago for the ales. After a few pints there we went to town. So it wasn't really a party, just a nice drink.

Railway Inn, Upper Killay

I went to Swansea with my brother and a few of his friends for my 18th birthday, and they all advised to go to the Railway.
Didn't really talk to the locals, but my friends and I spoke to the owner, he was very nice and had a laugh with us, he was also nice enough to let us stay inside whilst we waited for our taxi. There can't be many pub owners as generous.
The pub is quite old looking and has a couple of rooms, so my friends and I enjoyed being in a small comfortable room having a laugh. We all had different ales, all nice, but some nicer than others.
I'm hopefully doing a 3 year course at Swansea University next year and I will definitly be returning, to try some more ales.
I'd advise anyone to visit, young or old.
