The Carlisle Arms, Soho

I want to like this pub more than I do - good music, and not just 80s rock that the paraphernalia on the walls suggests. They played The Buzzcocks, Nirvana and "Sex and Candy", which I haven't heard for years. But other than the music it's pretty limited without much good to say about it.

The One Tun, Goodge Street

The atmosphere isn't great, but the burgers are. They have a good choice of ales and a split feed for Sky Sports.

The Captain Kidd, Wapping

Nice looking pub, if you like what appears to the Wapping aesthetic, which I do, with good outdoor space. But further to the below, if their limited selection of weirdly branded not great tasting beer which makes you feel extra ropey in the morning is good value then I can take that hit, but if it's not (£8.30 for two pints) then it isn't that appealing.
