The White Horse, Welton

I have to agree with the previous poster that I felt dismay also at the comments left by the previous poster. As far as I am aware, the current landlady has been at the pub since the beginning of this year and in that short space of time, they have worked tirelessly to make the business a success. The music weekends that were referred to are an occasion to bring the villagers together and really raise the community spirit. The music weekends have happened over the last few years, not just this year, but were far more organised this year compared to previous. The bands that play are normally local bands from the surrounding areas that are extremely talented - you never know, you might see the next Beatles or Stones on that stage before they hit the big time!

I have nothing but praise for the team of staff that have taken over this pub, the atmostphere is always friendly and welcoming and the food since the appointment of the new chef around February has been SUPERB! Only bad thing you could say is there is just too much of it! They seem to be constantly striving to provide a great service whilst supplying a wealth of entertainment. Can't fault them! Long may they continue to be successful - in a village where there isn't much else to do, I don't know where I would go if the pub wasn't there!
