The Coldham Hall Tavern, Surlingham

Great food, best sunday lunch I've had out in ages, and friendly staff.
Just wish someone could give me a lift over the river to turn a 26 mile round trip into a walk down to the river and back....

Lovely site too.

Rushcutters Arms, Thorpe-St-Andrew

Lovely riverside setting, but lacking a bit character, and not the most accommodating or friendly; food OK, but I would guess some is pre-prepared, and on all day which is a bonus in Norfolk. Staff OK
