The Emmott Arms, Laneshawbridge

You sense a welcome feeling from the moment you enter the Emmott Arms. The staff are very attentive and polite. The pub oozes period charm with its decor and the real open fire crackling away in the back ground.

My girlfriend and I dine there often, we have tried the whole menu and cannot fault anything. Our current favorite is the garlic mushrooms to start followed by the belly pork.

The food always tastes home made and fresh, we find the portion sizes very generous while not being over facing.

Service at the Emmott is also excellent taking into consideration everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order. presentation is good as is the friendly staff waiting on the tables. Nothing is too much trouble.

The Emmott is also a dog friendly pub and its common sight to see the odd pooch sat in front of that lovely open fire, or taking a drink of water from the dog bowl.

It appears to be very popular with walkers too being ideally situated to wycoller and so many other attractions.
