Used to drink Gordons and tonic here years ago!
And buy cases of becks to put in the fountain nearby during the summer. It was a great pub then. The landlady was named Beverly. Ran a great pub. Had all its old world charm back then. Now it is 'ruined' to echo another reviewer. Homogonised out of existance. And what REAL history this building has. ARGHHHHHHH!!!! We need a law to stop this type of vamndalism.

The Cock and Woolpack, City Of London

I love this pub. It was here that I fell in love for the first time. She had the most beautiful brown/hazel eyes I had ever seen. Natasha. Worked there. Where is she now? All these years later and I haven't forgotten. Anyway, the pub. Greeeeeat! Spoof and lager 'till the last train has gone, then a taxi into town, probably Bond Street. Why are there no doors in time? Ed
