Bar@1, Hammersmith

This is a nice place in the evenings. The atmosphere is good and you can have a decent conversation despite the music. Though it's I suppose primarily a cocktail bar, it's also a very good place to sit and have a conversation over whatever drink you may choose in the evening. There is seating at the front of the bar, away from the main area, as well as a small amount of seating in a raised section opposite the bar. Unsurprisingly, most of the customers tend to be people in their early to mid 20s, though in the early evenings it is also popular with people who've just finished work (I think they also have regular happy hours).

The Queens Head, Hammersmith

A very picturesque pub excellently situated on Brook Green. You wouldn't imagine how big it is from first looking at it from the outside, but the pub extends a fair way back with ample seating and one of the best gardens you'll find in London which is unsurprisingly very popular in the summer. It's certainly upmarket, not a "traditional" pub in that sense, but then what do you expect in this area. I've visited on many occasions at various times in the day and it always tends to be busy, particularly of course in the evenings - yet the service has never been anything but excellent.

I would say it is a pub worth seeking out. The atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly, drink and food I always find to be of the best quality (as you'd expect from a Fuller's pub) and the area itself is an extremely nice one. Also, considering the area, I'd say the drink and food is pretty reasonably priced, though it's unsurprisingly not cheap. No sport is shown here either, which some might consider is a bonus.

The Ravenscourt Arms, Hammersmith

Friendly and completely unpretentious pub. It's nothing remarkable but I've always had a good welcome here and enjoyed my time in it. It's a small pub, with a pool table to the right as you enter should you wish to play, and a television next to the door as well as a big screen, which shows sport on terrestrial channels. Worth a visit if you're passing by.
