The Windmill, Stratford Upon Avon
The 'local' for the Shakespeare Institute across the road. I've known this pub for many years, through various changes of ownership, policy and brands. Still a first stop whenever I'm in Stratford. Friendly staff, prompt service, good food. Can get horribly crowded on weekend evenings; best earlier in the day, like lunchtime.
