Nice range of beers and lagers, but the problem is getting served. I go in most Sundays and even when it�s not that busy you can still wait 5-10 mins to be served.
Obviously they keep the prices down by not paying staff much and not having enough of them. The cleanliness is also poor. I have had instances where food left by a previous diner has been left on a table I am drinking at for over 90 mins.

That said, it is cheap. However, sometimes I get so fed up waiting to be served that I bugger off down to the 6 Bells.

The Fishmongers Arms, Southgate

Having lived close to the pub all my life i've seen it have its ups and downs.
The current landlord Kevin is probably the best they have had since Ken and Bridgette in the mid 1990's. Following them there was a period of steady decline which Kevin seems to be reversing.

A good atmosphere in there now and very busy on Thrusday and Friday evenings.
