The Golden Lion, Newmarket
Have not been in this Wetherspoon's for a while and was suprised at the change in the whole pub. Wide range of ales avaliable two Adnams a Nethergate, Greene King Ruddles and Abbot and two christmas theme ales. served quickly and ale was good quality.
Staff told me of an ale night the new managers have started every wednesday, the poster said and all the guest ales start from �1.69 a pint.
Great to see a pub in the town doing something for real ale drinker's and that can offer a range as good as this.
