The Boatman, Guildford

Visited the Weyside 4/11/07 for a family lunch, the building is great and the decor fits well. But these are the only points I can say that are good. �10.95 for roast beef, 2 spuds, a few carrots and 1 cabbage leaf and 1 damp yorkshire pud is not cheap but waiting over 1 hour for it to arrive was very poor. Parships stated on menu never arrived, bill was wrong, we were never asked if we wanted more drinks. 2 other tables near us also asked to see the manager. Plenty of staff just not managed. So unless you like to pay above average for below average food and service avoid this pub.
