The Church Inn, Hockley

It's good to see The Church Inn reopened, at one stage i thought the pub was gone for good. It's still early days but new Landlady vicky seems to know what she's doing. As posted previously the previous landlord Lee had big ideas but failed to deliver (there was usually an heavy smell of Bulls**t in the air) and managed to piss off the old regulars some of whom had been visiting the pub since before Ray took over. The Prince is welcome to Lee as far as i'm concerned. I like the Lord Clifden as well but it doesn't feel like my local, i feel The Church and the Clifden can complement each other and co-exist. The Church needs to build up its custom from scratch thanks to Lee but good luck to Vicky.
