The Kings Head and Dive Bar, Chinatown

I worked both upstairs and downstairs from 1997 to 2000. I have so many lovely memories - but like my life at the time - all memories are quite hazy! Still got so much love in my heart for Michael and Terry, my first london parents lol. Shots of tequilla together behind the bar towards the end of the shift before going out dancing with M. The first thing T said to me was that he could tell a lot about me from my shoes, which were platform buffalos. I have some lovely photos from those days. Such good times, really felt like a family. I left London and didn’t go back for years. Always wanted to find Michael and thank him for everything… is he still at The Blue Posts?
