The Perseverance, Holborn
I went back to The Perseverance as I found out they are under new management. What a difference!!! No longer a 'gastro' pub run by surly staff as before. It has been sypathetically decorated, it has good beer back on tap and the food is a great, simple pub fayre. Pay no heed to the negative comment on here, they are refer to pub as it was, not how it is. It was re-opened on 5th April 2007, so comments prior to this are no longer valid.
I'd recommend this pub to anyone looking for a beer, a chat and a bite to eat.
