The Swan Inn, Monks Eleigh
Excellent Food! The chef there has worked at some great places & it shows. He was heaf chef at the Walnut Tree Inn, Abergavenny & worked with Franco there. Great menu, he clearly uses only seasonal produce. I had the Woodcock & my husband had the Venison Casserole with mash potatoes (it was January!) There are lots of favourite there as well, the people on the next table had Haddock & chips!!! There seem to be a local drinking trade as well, which was nice to see - good atmsophere.
