The Grape and Grain, Crystal Palace

Dropped by the newly redecorated Grape on 27/9/14 with a few mates. It looks great, but smells a bit like a greasy spoon cafe. This pub used to be one of the best pubs in South London, never mind Crystal Palace. It was almost empty, which should have rung alarm bells, but we ordered anyhow. After a couple of insipid pints of Adnams' and an ice cold Guinness, we went across the road to the Westow for some tasty beer, decent craic and good service.
