The Market Trader, Aldgate

Never go to this pub! It is shockingly bad. I came here a couple of weeks ago for a friend's birthday and the good company was the only positive thing. They put on food for �50 ... a couple of trays of sandwiches and some roast beef! I had left my card behind the bar and, when I came to pay, found that they had mistakenly charged extra drinks to my card. When I queried the charge the staff at first tried to make excuses and then said "well, you've signed now".
There were no redemptive qualities.
