Tom Browns, Dorchester

Always pop into Tom Browns when I am in Dorchester. I'm not wholly convinced as regards the refurbishment, although others in my group think it's fine. Usual Goldfinch ales plus a superb guest beer from the Sherborne Brewery.

Royal Oak, Dorchester

This place must surely vie as just about the best Wetherspoons in the country - and I have been to quite a few! The patio out the back must have had getting on for 20 casks racked up for the Wetherspoon's Autumn beer festival. Took advantage of their 3 different beers (each a third of a pint) for the same price as a pint - �1.65. One of them was Robinson's Old Tom at 8.5%!!

The Blue Raddle, Dorchester

The local Camra's pub of the year - and well-deserved. Had a couple of pints of excellent, reasonably priced ale. The food looked pretty good as well.
