White Swan, Winchester

Now redecorated and with a lovely enthusiastic manage with a great attitude. She's kicked out the barflies and is focusing on good food and good music. I had a lovely pint of Ruddles county there last night as I listened to some great original music form some local artists. They streamed it all over the internet, very ingenious! Nice friendly crowd and a good time had by all.
It also has 2 undercover places for people to smoke, I don't so I can't comment much except to say that it looked quite pleasant though the window!

The South Western, St Denys

This has got to be the best pub in Southampton. Not only does it have very friendly staff it has the best of ales including the wonderful Doombar.
It also pays host to the fantastic Pure Acoustica evenings where local musicians play their own sings with pas or microphones. We enjoyed a wonderful evening there on the 17th of june and are looking forward to the next one. Just a minutes walk from the station too!!

The Roebuck, Richmond Hill

Went there for a meal last week and it was awful. I'm about to be a grumpy old git and write a letter of complain. Just inedible
