The Only Running Footman, Mayfair

Not a good pub for beer - mainly a restaurant with a small bar area. Having said that it was packed and luckily for a September evening, the weather was good so the crowd spilled out onto the pavement. Limited selection of ales and only one was on. Not rushing back.

The Duke of Cambridge, Tilford

Friendly pub - got to agree with pkrp - popped in for a couple of pints of Red Mist; friendly and more pub-like (in a good way) than it looks from the outside.

The Fox and Goose, Greywell

Where have all the review(er)s on this site gone??
This pub is still very welcoming, were with a party of 11 - after a beautiful walk along the canal and over the Downs. I had the Fox and Goose Ale - not sure which brewery (Ringwood?) 3.6% but very acceptable. Doom Bar and Courage Directors also on tap. Food excellent and reasonably priced - great way to finish the walk.
