The Loaded Dog, Leytonstone

I went to this place for the first time last night after a recommendation and they had an open mic Jazz jam session which had plenty of waiting musicians - the majority of whom could play.

It's immediately become my favourite pub in the area and worth the 5-10 min walk from Leytonstone tube (which is the one to get to it from).

Large inside with the stage at the back so you don't have to listen to the music if you don't want. Near the stage is a sofa and some smaller tables then there's a raised seating area with more tables - which were all candle-lit for a nice touch. At the front on the other side of the bar (though in the same space) is a pool table.

I didn't notice the ales but the lagers were the standard fare though they did have San Miguel on draft.

Outside there was a walled garden off to the left of the stage though I didn't really check that out.

Recommended, I'll certainly be going again.
