The Lord Nelson Inn, Ansley

I think the comments need an update. The house beers are no longer Tunnel (long gone), but Sperrin, brewed on the premises. Visited last week twice: a warm welcome, the front bar is very nice, and enjoyed the Head Hunter beer. Food was good pub fare, generous portions, reasonable prices.

The Shed, Norwich

This friendly pub is now called the Fat Cat Tap. Excellent choice of beers, nearly always in good condition. My only grouse: often hard to get a seat, especially when it's cold outside!
