The Eagle and Child Inn, Gwaenysgor

I was recently taken here for a meal, and to my surprise it was exceptionally quaint. The car park was plentyful and once inside was reached it was very spacious. Our meal place had been pre-booked but the host did inform us that he had a main party in the larger of the three dining areas and our meals may be somewhat delayed. It would have been hard to notice as there was so much going on for a hostelry that was only about 20 miles from where i live, but firstly had never heard of and only found by the guidance of my hostess who had eaten there before.
The menu, service and aftercare was out of this world, nothing seemed too much trouble and we were looked after plentifully.
I would most definately go there again and to that end have placed it in my favourites on the Sat-Nav!!!
