Bush Hill Park Hotel, Enfield

What a dump! This pub was never the best, but has gone steadily downhill over the last few years. Grubby, worn carpets, nasty toilets, no food, poor selection of beer. The only pub I have ever been in that only serves wine in miniature "one glass" bottles.

At one point the back bar used to be open for functions on a Friday or Saturday evening. Those days are long gone.

The outside of the place could do with a really good clean up and coat of paint. As with a lot of other places, all the smokers gather outside but no one ever sweeps up the cigarette butts so it looks filthy.

I suspect that things have gone so far downhill for this establishment that they are at the point of no return as it needs a huge amount of investment to turn it into anything half decent. I can well see that in the not too distant future this will be either knocked down or converted into yet more flats.
