The Fur and Feathers, Herriard

We visited this pub on the basis of previous positive reviews. We were not disappointed. The pub isn't crowded with too many tables, the beer was well-kept (Ruddy Darter, TEA) and the food was not only good value but really, really tasty. The service was also excellent. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this pub.

The Cricketers, Hartley Wintney

This is a very cosy pub facing the village green and a great place for a summer's drink. Although the drinks seem very expensive I've always had a cracking pint there. The guest beers are changed regularly and are kept very well. I can't vouch for the food but there are always plenty of people eating.
