The Commercial, Herne Hill
This is a great little pub and a good rival to the now pretentious Escape Bar and Art next door.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, but best of all they happily allow dogs and even offer a bowl for the parched little canine. At last a trendie local pub where I can enjoy a pint after a brisk walk in Brockwell Park with my littlw Westie!!!
They also do great food, but not so hung up on the real ale type beers. Give me a pint of bland lager any day!!!
