The Kings Head, Bishops Cleeve

A pub that should have so much potential. Thatched roof, low ceilings, rustic and an open fire. A small choice of ale, but in keeping with the majority of the clientel, more lager oriented. Such a shame about the staff. A little training there wouldn't go amiss. Things such as how to smile occasionally, politeness and to remember that the customer as important might help. With a manager who took my order by jerking his head and saying 'yes mate' and a girl who looked at me as if by asking to be served, I had just ruined her day, I'm not sure quite why this pub seems so popular!
