The Jolly Gardeners, Old Windsor

Having been told about the previous posters comments, and having been a regular of this pub for the last 13 years, I felt I had to jump to the defence. The Jollies has never pretended to be anything other than a community based (dog friendly) local, as noted by other posters. This, they manage to achieve very well and have been appearing in CAMRAs Good Beer Guide for several years. As for the landlady not getting on with the customers, well, thats just rubbish take it from a regular.
I can only suggest the previous poster sticks to some of the more youthful plastic pubs in Windsor, where they will find other like- minded people supping fizzy alco-pops pretending to be 18.
With their attitude to age, It can only be hoped they never grow old, or at least, if they do, they grow nicer with it. They are certainly not the type of people I wish to rub shoulders with.

The Highlander, Windsor

Used to use this pub some years ago, when it was the Highlander/Court Jester/et al, but moved out of the area.
Now I'm back in Eton I though I'd give it a look in - now called Malones, this has become a very rough pub.
If you must drink in here, I suggest you stick to spirits, as the beer is almost undrinkable.
Watch out for the tattooed vamp perched at the bar.
Plenty of other decent pubs in Eton and Windsor
