Yay, our local pub is now open, clean and friendly, and it does food. We have needed this for a very long time. We've been in once with nothing to complain about and it was busy with lots of people popping in to see what it was all about. Will certainly go again. Not sure whether Honeybadger (previous reviewer) is local or not but it seems to me that his intent to watch the red lion's demise is slightly cynical. Give them a chance. We can deal with a few teething problems in exchange for a welcoming local.
