May 2011. Excellent! Under new management. First-rate food at good prices. Exceedingly warm welcome & friendly staff. Free wi-fi and real ale. We're locals just down the road and we and our neighbours are big fans.

Crows Nest Inn, Crows Nest

April 2011. Disappointing! We chose the Crow's Nest for a lunch venue having visited local sights. Claimed to have locally sourced food. Examined menu to find such things as tuna and mayo baguette (exorbitant �6!) or prawn baguette (�6.50). Is the term 'locally sourced' to mean local cash-and-carry? Bowl of soup was disappointingly tiny with very small piece of French stick at �5. Need to have small stomach and large pocket.
