I think the food must have had a make-over judging from the previous entries, went for lunch with friends and had really scrummy food. Unfortunately the lighting was APPAULING. It was lunchtime but felt like dusk, wondered if they were trying to keep their 'leccy bills down. Staff friendly.

We really like the interior of this very conveniently situated pub which we've visited twice in the last 6 months. The beer's good too, however the food does let it down, in particular the vegetarian options which are over priced and no better than I can produce at home - I'm not a good cook!

The Amberwood Inn, Walkford
It wasn't a spider - it was a monkey, or it was when I first went over 20 years ago!! Food good but expensive, staff friendly. Beer well kept in our experience. Slightly lacking in atmosphere.
