The Grouse and Claret, Belgravia

I phoned up to ask about use of the dart board.
The extremely forthcoming landlady explained that it's in the function room downstairs which she was more than happy to open for us.
A darts room!! With bar and duke box.
We arrived the following evening to find it was no word of a lie.
Lovely pub, tucked away in beautiful mews streets. Chummy booths and pleasant outdoor drinking in the street - and the Landlady was as welcoming as she was forthcoming on the phone.

The Express Tavern, Kew Bridge

Was in there one afternoon last December.
Wonderful old school proper pub, even shuts in the afternoon - which is slightly inconvenient yet utterly charming.
2 pro footballers came (1 Arsenal, 1 Man United), the Arsenal player was chatting up the Scottish Landlady. I think she was up for it but it was gone 3pm.
