The Prince Albert, Dover

I've been drinking in the Albert for at least the last 10 years and feel quite saddened by the comments posted here. It's a lively, warm and friendly place and the staff and management are all lovely people, as are most of the punters.

I've not figured out who "dozy barmaid" is yet. I personally know all the staff in the Albert and in a decades worth of drinking there have never once had issue with any of them. Denise, Eliza, Mick et al are all friendly, approachable and intelligent people with great sense(s) of humour and always up for a laugh.

By far the best pub in Dover, almost a second home in fact. I should imagine a subsequent visit to the Albert might alter a certain gentlemans bitter-sweet (another oxymoron <- note: spelt correctly) analysis of the place.

Maybe said gentleman, who posted the previous comments, had one too many Ruddles Best prior to visiting the Albert and was a touch over-sensitive. Who drinks that pap anyway?!
