popped in this place on monday night, a fantastic pint of Harveys served well by attentive staff. what i presume was the guv'nor was also very friendly and chatty. top venue for parties too! with a cellar bar and a reasonable menu. well worth a visit

The Carpenters Arms, Marble Arch

If anybody wants to know what a real barmaid is,go in and ask for fran. (frank to the locals). She is a true gem of a girl, polite, funny and friendly. this pub has come on leaps since spring. Fair play to the team, Lee is also a welcome addition to a great team of staff!

The Blue Boar, Poole

Once again the Market Porters Nick has moved and has now bought the lease of this unbeleiveably unique pub in the old town, It is ram packed full of nautical memorabilia and has a hidden gem in its basement!!!
Go down there and check it out. although the ales are supplied by fullers they are all in excellent condition and the staff are a delight. Well worth a visit to seaside

The Carpenters Arms, Marble Arch

The ex-manager of the famous Market Porter in London Bridge, Nick Turner, has recently taken over here. Look forward to some great ales and more great nights in this corner of west london

The Market Porter, Borough

I believe the ex-guvnor Nick, who was, incidentally the BITE Pub of the year winner last year ,has returned to the Carpenters Arms in Marble Arch. Happy Days for West London Ale drinkers.
