The Wrekin Inn has just been included in the 2011 CAMRA Good Beer Guide for the first ever - well deserved as there are always 6 good real ales on tap.

The Old Orleton Inn, Wellington
old hotel with an excellent restaurant (5 stars) with a pleasant bar serving several real ales from the Hobsons brewery. Close to Wellington town centre and great views of the Wrekin Hill.

A music pub at the weekends with live bands. It has a couple of real ales and is holding a small beer festival this week. Needs a good makeover and a tidy-up.

The Bacchus has improved slightly and has had a minor make-over with a new landlord. There are a couple of real ales and it is very close to Wellington railway station. Could be even better!!!

OK pub with 3 real ales usually - Could be a lot better. The building is historic and probably the oldest pub in Wellington.

Recently reopened pub on the edge of Wellington. 4 real ales are usually available mostly local breweries (Ironbridge/Rowton/Salopian). Very comfortable with excellent meals. There are 2 annual beer festivals in the garden area - well worth visiting. A candidate for the GBG.

Excellent pub with 8 real ales and two comfortable rooms. There is also a good selection of bottles Belgium beers. CAMRA pub of the year 2009 for the West Midlands.

A good pub with 6 real ales always on. Comfortable and only 5 mins walk from the railway station. They hold beer festivals. Deserves to be in GBG.

Slightly improved with 3 real ales (all national beers) at reasonable prices. Comfortable and very close to the railway station and meals all day. They are having a small St Georges Day beer festival.

The White Lion, Wellington
The White Lion is reopening on Monday 5th Dec 2011 after a refurbishment by Darwin's Inns (who have taken it over) and it will be selling 5 Salopian real ales. Hopefully it will be a much better pub!
