Use to use this pub back in the late 70's and early 80's.It was ran by Bill and Mary West,Great atmosphere ,some great live bands on a sunday, plenty of good pool players an all round friendly pub.Also some great characters used this pub.The score for this pub back then was a 10.

Have not been to this pub for about 25 years ( as i dont live in leicester any more ).I really use to enjoy it on a friday night.I dont know if its changed much , but it use to be very a student , punky type of pub back then.

The Sultan of Egypt, Leicester
A busy pub especially on a friday and saturday night.Mainly full of locals and had a good atmosphere.One of the few pubs that had the old pub games still going around at the time.It was on the corner of Belgrave rd and Woodboy street just off the saint matthews estate.Always part of the pub crawl on a friday and saturday.
