Top Harvey's pub. Not full of chavs and the food is okay. If the reason you go into pubs is for the beer then I can only urge you to visit the Alma.

Went here on a friday night and found it full of teeanage goths who take themselves veeeery seriously. Aside from this, a nice enough place to go for a pint. don't make a special trip here but if you live local then there's probably a lot worse.

Over priced and over rated. Don't ever fancy anything on the menu and the beer is average at best. A pub for the kind of people who live in the harbour here in Eastbourne and think that this sort of place is "rural". Save your hard earned and go somewhere else.

Top quality pint of Harvey's here. A proper pub next to the chav-fest-bedlam that is BN21. Not enough places like this in E'Bourne!

Ignore the food and focus on the beer! Would be better if you go just go in for a drink, imho. I resent paying �20+ a head for 1 course and 4 drinks. If you can create a bar area where I can sit and drink Chimay all evening then you'll take an awful lot of my money...

Chav, chav, chav, chav, chav. Do you need an indication of the clientele? Fights outside and full of 16 year old girls chiugging down highly alcoholic, blue coloured drinks inside. Please don't go in here, it's a bad advertisement for the town and the people who live here.

A sad trendy wine bar. Used to sell good beer but has become a sad haven for the kind of people who can't afford to live in Brighton. Only visit there if you're eating. Oh, and someone else is paying...

A massive shithole. About 10 yards from where I live and always full of the kind of people you cross over the road to avoid. I find it quite easy to sit outside a pub without shouting at people passing by so why don't they? If you're visiting town don't go in there, walk 100 yards up the road and pop into the Marine, a far nicer pub and without the strange "yokel" people.

Top notch pub and no mistake! Great beer, great atmosphere. You won't like it if you're a "five for a pound" Stella chav person but if you enjoy proper beer in a proper pub then I can tell you that you need to pop in here for a pint or three. My second favourite pub in the world (my first is the Cheshire Cheese).

The Station, Newton Uckfield
Chavs. Full of 'em. Mind you, this is a small town and there's nowhere else to go. Okay during the day but changes into a "Stanley knife at dawn" place after about 21:00.
