is it my imagination or does the quarry seem to have a shortage of staff as service is slower,empties piling up on bar etc, no complaints about staff-just numbers serving.

only been once,supposed to be a holiday resort attracting tourists, told children were not allowed outside early evening, drink up, thats why llandudno is not the place for families

The Hare and Hounds Hotel, Timperley
agree with the last comment, hare and hounds used to be a great pub, 10/15 years ago, great pint of marstons, stick to the quarry and the stonies, excellent pubs, good beer

quality pub, lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by, on a summers evening, quality beer �1.30p a pint-was that really dr who walking past the other night, or was the sam smiths kicking in

The Quarry Bank Inn, Timperley
Great pub,good selection of hydes beer,used to be a nice place for a session where you could hear yourself talk,with no music, policy seems to have changed somewhat, went for a meal over the weekend and the plates were bouncing from the noise of a rock band playing in the pub (mind you not a bad band!)

The Briton's Protection Hotel, Castlefield
regarding comment by altfish, take his comments on board, last time I tried the Britons, was England v Wales at Old Trafford and Manchester City Centre was a bad place to be in that night.
Look forward to trying the Britons on another night out in Manchester

is this a private members club, last couple of times i have been in manchester on a saturday night the doors have been locked, even though there seems room inside, anybody putting this pub on their list of pubs to visit at weekend beware of the fact they may not let you in.

The Old Market Tavern, Altrincham
good selection of beer,no scallies,music a bit deafening, seem to have installed a jukebox, but good choice of music, one of the better pubs in alty, right next to the orange tree, so not far to walk

used to be a lovely pub, selling a graet pintb of boddies, with a landlady who was very entertaining, then it became more of a pub restaurant
