The Rose of Denmark, Charlton

Great little boozer with a fantastc warm and friendly atmosphere.
Visited as an away football supporter prior to our game against Charlton- and as stated on previous posts, good mix of home and away fans.
Only London pride on so the ale hounds were dissapointed by lack of choice but we won the game (Up the Col U) so who cares really......

The Plough, Stalisfield

Visited this gem of a pub and what a pub!!!
Gorgeous pint of Whitstable Oyster Stout and the food was stunning- absolutely stunning. All locally sourced. Best beef burger Ive ever had- bacon on top was more like a small piece of gammon (yum), even the tomato sauce was locally made and truly fantastic
Pub itself was gorgeous- lots of nice old oak beams and the smiles and chat from behind the bar was a welcome change to the welcome you can sometimes get at other establishment
And a friendly resident cat too.....

The Iron Duke, Victoria station

Makes a song and dance outside on its a board about the value for money you get on certain lagers. Isnt til you tatse them that you realise why.
Had a truly awful pint of Heineken and was so bad that I left half of it despite having ample time for my train.
Great to have aggressive pricing folks but only if the product is at an acceptable standard....

Leading Light, Faversham

And now also stocking ales from the Royal Tunbridge Wells Brewery

The Windmill, St Leonards on Sea

Fairly Run of the mill Brewers Fayre Pub. Standard offerings from behind the bar- nothing much to set the world alight but served in a cheery enough sort of way.
Only downside really is the food on a Sunday...Busy during the day (as you would expect) with longer than you would wish for wait times or quiet later in the day but most of the Sunday exclusive Roast out of stock come 4 ish.......

We are now having a minimum of 5 ales on at any time, including a focus on Locally produced Ale such as Hopdaemon, Whitstable Brewery and Wantsum Brewery. We also stock a wide selection of Adnams Ales plus an ever changing range of nationally sourced Ale. We are also stocking a good extensive range of Ciders including locally produced ones.

The Worlds End, Camden

Annoting to find this place still packed the majority of time when they seem to do things so wrong and yet others do things so right and are struggling to survive.
All reviews below accurately portray this place, the only saving grace is its position near the tube station

Great little boozer and a cracking pint of Guinness on a busy Saturday afternoon.

The Old Wine Vaults, Faversham

Much improved since the old days of being the Hole in The wall.
Can now get a decent bite to eat and a decent pint and always a happy smiling face behind the bar
Recommend a visit!!!

The Halfway House, Challock

Called in here for a bite to eat on the way home from a day out on Sunday.
Only fancied a light meal/snack and was told they only do main meals on a Sunday (All priced at a tenner +).
We left without any food or beer as a result.
Seemed very busy but they should remember that we dont all want a roast you know........
