The Anchor Inn has had a complete makeover & it really is fantastic!!!!! The pub is unrecognisable to what it was! Looks like a trendy, chic London bar - well done! Well worth a visit. Beautiful furniture, lovely clean & spacious toilets inc disabled - also disabled access. Hurry up with the food guys!! Also a welcoming smoking area & gardens etc & excellent staff.

Can anyone tell me what happened to the young gay lad that took over a couple of years ago please? I think he called himself 'The Boss' Also, is Miketheglass still around?

The Leather Bottle, Hemel Hempstead
Does anyone know what happened to Anna, she was once the Manager. My family & I called in last week & we asked after her but as we only pass thru ocasionaly, we seem to have lost touch - was suprised to see a big change there. Still very pretty pub though.

Been so long this pub got reviewed! I have been back several times since Mark & Alison, the new owners have taken over & it's a truly great family/local/village pub. Gary the chef & all the staff will properly look after you - great food - great service - great beer!!! Look out for the Karaoke's once a month & the fancy dress disco's!! I went 1 wed night & they seem to be doing Silly Steak Night - 6oz Rump, all the trimmings for �4.95!!! Great Sunday Lunch too & serve till 4pm!! Lovely local, frindly pub!

The Wheel Inn, Wisbech St Mary
lovely, lovely pub/restaurant!! Went there once 4 sunday lunch - do about 4 choices of meat - beef, 1/2 chicken, gammon & pork. they also do 4 settings - 12, 2, 4 & 6pm!! We went at 4pm & everything was freshly cooked - absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!! I went out for a ''fag'' & chatted to the landlord who told me that the garden/kids area/smoking area was all built by the locals - need I say more??? Must, must, must visit!!
