The Crown and Anchor, Manchester

I agree that since the refurbishment the pub has lost its character. The video is far too loud and kills any form of communication and sadly the staff are so rude they dont make it a pleasure to drink there. I must say that the meals are rather nice and they have special offers on too.....great in the afternoon for attracting local workers in their dinner hour. Shame the pub attracts its scruffy red necks as they lower the tone of the place....find the scuffs a new dive.

The Royal Oak, Heaton Park

An old pub one would only drink in if totaly desperate. There is nil atmosphere and the only entertainment is the local tart Angela and her married lover......Give this pub a miss.

Lloyds No. 1, Manchester

Funky bar that attracts the crowd. Arrogant door staff. I was deaf for almost 2 days, due to the loud music...trun it DOWN!!!!!

Norwegian Blue, Manchester

Very sparse yet lots of room. I hate the high ceilings...i get dizzy vertigo when i look up. One drink and i'm off...never my final destination bar.

The Hare and Hounds, Manchester

Its a bit of a scruffy dive compared with some of the trendy bars spouting up in manchester. It attracts a working mans crowd, no need to dress up in this place. I bet "Boz" is still propping the bar up though....regardless.

The Priests Retreat, Prestwich

If you want an enjoyable drink in a good atmosphere....avoid this pub at all costs. Full of local young idiots pub crawling the village area.

Ye Golden Lion, Blackley

Sadly local, young louts have taken advantage of the new management and spoilt all the fun of entertainment. It became fight night once again. shame.....

The Cleveland, Crumpsall

The cleve meals are value for money and there is an excellent choice on the menu...which changes with the seasons. The staff are friendly and most of the local characters are still around....although the younger crowd are starting to spoil its built up reputation again.
