Cafe Vlissinghe, Bruges

Nice old bar, one large room with old photos and memorabilia.
Staff were pleasant enough, but the bar seemed very noisy for the number of people that were in it. Draft beers very dissapointing. Only 3 beers Juliper, Leffe Brune & Brugse Zot. Bottles beers were a little better but not much.

The Rising Sun, Little Hampden

The pub appears to be closed now.
Future licencees should take note, that if your main customers are walkers, then putting signs up that say "No muddy Boots", doesn't encourage walkers to come in.

The Farmer's Bar, Aylesbury

Popped in recently to taste the beer and have a look around. Beer was excellent, and the courtyard was pleasant. The pub has a small bar, definitely not for standing at. The seating was of the armchair and sofa variety, and a few customers appeared to resting in the place rather than having a drink. I suppose this fits in the NT requirements, but its not a proper bar. Given the age of the place it's a missed opportunity, and the painted beams are a real dissapointment. The NT also owns the Crown bar in Belfast, this is run like a real bar, and it's a gem.

The Greyhound, Wigginton

Pub seemed vey empty for a Sunday lunchtime. No sandwiches just a lunch menu with a very small selection of uninspiring mains. Ordered a hambuger for 6.25 which seemed to take longer than it should have, since the place was empty. Burger arrived garnished with a tomato salsa and a slice of tomato, no salad. Unfortunately I had to send it back because it was raw in the middle. The replacement came and it tasted like a fatty mass produced frozen burger. Finished my pint and left.
