The Kingdom, Kilburn

Place gets worse every time I visit it. Should cure anyone suffering from any nostalgic feelings for the 'good old days' in Kilburn.

Last time I was in here witnessed a mother and son punching crap out of each other. Had one pint and left. Depressing? Think I'd have felt suicidal if I'd stayed in this place any longer than that. 0/10

Southern K, Kilburn

Seems to change hands on an almost weekly basis, the current management have a vicious guard dog behind the bar which probably tells you what type of clientelle they're attracting these days. Hooligan heaven

The Golden Egg, Kilburn

They've added a jukebox and a large screen so it has less of the 'airport lounge' atmosphere .Usually busy reasonable prices 6/10

Father Ted's, Kilburn

Previous owners of The Black Lion have taken this place over and most of their regulars seem to have followed them.

Usually a darts match going on as they seem to have about 10 teams some of whom apparently play at semi-pro level. Service is good, the screens on every wall are a bit distracting,24 hour license(only pub in brent), good for a late drink

The Chippenham, Maida Hill

Place seems sleepy, 3 or 4 bored backpackers and a Son and Daughter and this was a Saturday night.

Dark and dingy beer was ok. Indeed Joe Strummer played here with the 101ers in the upstairs part

The Salusbury, Kilburn

Horrible place, cramped, uncomfortable and the staff resent having to serve you go to the Corrib or the Long Room if you want to have a drink in the area

The Priory Tavern, Kilburn

Almost exclusivley frequented by locals, though its not in any way threatening or unfriendly. Popular on Sundays for football especially if Arsenal or Chelsea are playing. Reasonable drinks at reasonable prices

Brondes Age, Kilburn

Been cobbled together from three previous sites and it shows. Toilets are ridiculously small staff and drinks are ok place to go when the rest of the pubs in the area have shut.

The Bridge Tavern, Kilburn

Place has a chequered history was a lively and friendly atmosphere a few years ago until the less law-abiding members of the community started to frequent whereupon every one else departed.

Miserable dump for a few years its now been turned into a bar/pizzeria. Comfy decor drinks not too pricey, certainly an improvement one of the better pubs this end of the high road

Like stepping back in time twenty years. Probably the last of the old style Irish pubs in Kilburn.Mainly for an older Irish crowd. Beers ok ,musics awful I found it fairly depressing

The Black Lion, Kilburn

Another 'gentrified' Kilburn pub. Nice decor, comfy, beers ok but yeah the atmosphere is sterile. Ok for a couple of drinks before heading off somewhere a tad more lively

The North London Tavern, Kilburn

Has changed, like a lot of Kilburn Pubs from being one frequented by older Irish blokes, to a 'trendy 'bar. It was awful before and its awful now.Bar staff while pleasant enough are the slowest I've ever come across, its very expensive and the punters are too 'cool'to be friendly.

Powers Bar, Kilburn

Cheap and cheerful, free jukebox, cheap beer friendly staff. Yeah there are a few 'loons' but the atmosphere is friendly. Only complaint is some of the bands playing at the weekends are dreadful
