The Kentish Horse, Mark Beech

One of my favourite pubs. Serves a lovely pint of Larkins and good food. A real log fire is cosy in winter, the garden is large with a great view in summer. Well worth a visit.

The Swan, Little Totham

This pub has to be just about the best place for real ale. The choice is extensive and they are all kept in perfect condition in a cooled tap room, no pumps on the bar, all ale is drawn from the cask. The landlord took great pride in showing us the storage facillities. Good home cooked food is available. All of this in a lovely garden setting. A must pub to visit, you will keep comming back like I do

The Old Jail, Cudham

This is a lovely old timber and tile building with lots of atmosphere. In addition to Harveys and Spitfire, Deuchars IPA is now on the pump. With a car park and large garden it is well worth a visit. Food can be a bit slow to arrive at busy times as it is freshly prepared and the kitchen is quite small.

The Jolly Woodman, Beckenham

I visited The Jolly Woodman today after seeing that it stocks Deutchars ipa, and found that it is an absolute gem. A small traditional pub in a side street in Beckenham Kent, a victorian building with the bar kept in the old stile of wooden decor, like pubs used to be, and you seldom see now .Comfortable seating inside, with a small garden at the rear, leading to the outside toilets.
The landlord is passionate about his beer, and keeps it in top condition. In addition to the Deutchars he had Harveys best, Adnams, and London Pride on. Sandwiches can be had at lunchtime, and as a final bonus the bar is now non smoking.
Make a visit here your top priority, this pub is too good to lose.
