The Beech Inn, Chorlton cum Hardy
went in here thursday night 29/11/2012. Well worth the visit as they had a good selection of beers and nice atmosphere. The barmaid even gave me a cuddle!

Went in here monday after the marathon (waiting for the Evening Star to open). Had a fine selection of ales on and they were in good condition. Would go back again.

The White Star, Stoke-on-Trent
I agree will blue_scrumpy , this pub is well worth seeking out if you are a real ale/pub fan. No gimicks , just a good pint in nice suroundings.

One of the best pubs in London. A short walk from Charing Cross so handy for a last drink before the last train home.

Great brew pub. Friendly staff and locals and just a very short walk to the Youth Hostel.

The Crystal Palace, Tunbridge Wells
This pub appears to be re-opening. Does anybody have any news on that?

Reply to boltonbloke. Was in here on wednesday 4th of March. Beer was excellent. Very good choice of ales. So I think you was very unlucky.

The Abergavenny Arms Hotel, Frant
This place has changed hands. (Has had a bit of a make over as wanted by Nigger) It seems to be a bit more of a food pub now, but the beer was in good shape last time I was in.

A good traditional pub , servering Holts bitter on hand pump. Friendly locals.

Great pub. Stayed 4 days in Manchester and spent most of my time in thi gem of a pub. Well worth a visit.

Went in here friday 1st august. A nice pub with good beer and a friendly landlord.

The new landlord and landlady have really got this pub going. Very good food and beer. a mix of customers from working class (like me ) to Posh @@@@

A nice place for a sunday lunchtime drink, gets very lively with darts and a meat raffle. Worth a look

Sister pub of the Evening Star in Brighton owned by the Dark Star brewery. Good real ale range and a bar billards table.

The Harp, Covent Garden
After a refurbishment I was worried that the pub would be ruined . but glad to say that the pub remains the same little gem that is the Harp.
The Hophead was in good shape as always
