The staff have changed, the new ones are excellent (the one I complained about was an alright bloke - he was just too moody for a barman). Still an excellent place - I go the Narrow St bar for food, but this place is my favourite on Narrow St to sit and relax.

Used to be a good place to stop for a dump if you were in the area and needed one. But the toilets were dirty tonight and one cubicle had no paper.

Great place, I'm suprised the score's so low. Good atmosphere, staff get you served fast, nice pint of guinness - definitely added to my list of pubs for west end crawls. Oh and if you're wondering where all the west=end eye candy drink, there's quite a few of them in here.

The Spread Eagle, Shoreditch
Had a classic conversation with the barman in here back in the good old days of the dancing girls.
Me: What's with the big hole in the wall?
Him: A customer did it.
Me: How?
Him: With his head.
Me: Why?
Him: <snarling> He was leaving.
I think he was an ex-marine. Definitely hard as nails.
