Not bad here...bit close to the busy road for my liking...and a bit noisy thereof....landlady extremely cold and rude in my opinion. Still, pub was ok, beers in a decent condition...food acceptable...wouldn't come back though.

Came here last week....very disappointed, surly staff, terrible choice of menu, all deep fried, no emphasis on local produce or homecooked food...nicish location, but all in all I would say anew manger could do this place proud....all in all...a 2 out of 10. (beers were ok..hence the 2).

What a dump!! We came to this establishment 3 weeks ago, ordered a steak cooked to order, came out cold and bloody, the fires were cold too, and the oil definitely needed chasnging...had a peek at the kitchens through the back and the place is in dire need of a clean....the furniture tatty, very dusty, and waited at the bar with noone there for 15 minutes!!! I would never ever come back to this place...dreadful!!!

Not a great location...food was not appetising and overpriced...a pretty ordinary pub...please avoid this one.
