The Olde Ship Hotel, Seahouses
This is a great pub. seperate bars 1 smoking 1 no smoking a good distance between them with a few walls aswell so there are no complaints about smoking. Great beer and home cooked food which is as good as anywhere i have been if not better. locals are warm and welcoming. my only complaint is that i dont live closer to this pub.

Been in this pub for many meals.
Food is the best in the area and at a reasonable price.
Good drinks selection and a friedly atmosphere make this a good pub for a meal or a drink.
Not much in the form of enterainment but good for a swift half/weekday pint or a meal any evening.

Went there for a meal.
Had to wait 45 minutes for the food to arrive and it was ok but not worth the wait.
It has a poor selection of beer and unless you like Badgers you will be disappointed.
Also has a very small smoking area in a corner of the bar.
Wont be going there again!!

Good pub went there on a saturday night very strict on the door which helps good atmosphere good laugh and decent selection of beers at a resonable price.

The Hunting Lodge, Monkseaton
This pub seems ok. good beer at a resonable price, couple of pool tables seems to be a mixed crowd of young and old people which says that it is a local and not one of these chains that only care about food.
